Easter Dinner

Since we were in St. George over Easter my family had our Easter dinner this past Sunday.  It was delicious.  My Dad The anonymous man in this picture made me promise that he would not see himself on my blog, so to keep my word I'm only going to put on the picture that hides his face.

My life lately (in pictures)

Cleaning the sink at Angies.
Mallory was so excited to eat some ice cream that she blurred.  You can't even see me in the picture, that's how fast I was moving to get some  cream.

The lens baby is alive again. I can't tell you how much I love the thing, it's so much fun.

meet my two new friends...

Ben & Jerry's Boston Cream Pie and Americone Dream ice cream.
So, so good!

I got home from work about an hour ago and pulled out my homework "to do" list and thought, "to heck with this! It would be better if I ate my weight in ice cream!"
or something like that.
And that's exactly what I'm doing now.
(this seems to be a trend in my life lately)

So

Thank you Ben, thank you Jerry,
thank you Boston,
and thank you Steven Colbert

This night would not be possible without you!

Also:

I wanted to write about my weekend cause it was lovely (except for the working Friday and Saturday part).

Saturday was Luci's baptism.
It was definitely worth the 3 hour drive and I'm really glad I was able to go. Luci looked so pretty, as always, and it was really great to spend time with the family.
I love my crazy family and our traditional Chuck-A-Rama feasts :)

(I took a lot of pictures but I like this one below the best and I'm now crashing from the ice cream sugar high I just described above, so I'm only going to upload this one for now... :)

It was a good weekend...

I watched Boom Boom play tennis, and Erin and Britten play softball
I got to go to my friends wedding reception
I got to play volleyball twice
I got to hang out with my Dad at his school for a little while
I went to Red Robin with Alli
I watched some football and went shopping
I got to go to Stake conference with my family
and I made a pie for the first time

It was fun!
Here are a few pictures...
(I'm trying to show my burned finger... it didn't work)

Sorry about the boringness of this post, I'm tired and I want to go to bed.... therefore, I think I will!

Bonne nuit mes amis!

State of the Union Address

(WARNING: The following contains material that may be offensive to smarter readers. Discretion is advised.)

I, the Commander and Chief of the United States of Kori, write this address in response to the rumors of surrender in our war on the fat invading our fair, and sovereign states. Yes it is true that we lost battles this weekend to an assortment of cookies, red velvet cake, and cream puffs but as Winston Churchill said, "we must learn to be equally good at what is short and sharp and what is long and tough." We first thought this war would be the former, but now it is evident that it will be the latter.

Long and Tough.

In truth, history has proved that the U.S.K. is kind of slow in the head so we think it is safe to say that, with time on our side, we can win this war!

(...what can I say? It's not like I'm on the biggest loser, so don't judge...)

Once upon a time....

There lived the Juicy Lucy.
She was fairest of them all (and tasty too).

She was created by this man...
He went by the name "T-Bone" and he was truly an artist with beef,

and he was modest too (see example below).

Now let me introduce you to "El Taco"...

Unlike T-Bone,
El Taco was not modest (he was a womanizer, as you can see).

and he wore a skirt.

The end.
