Don't Mess.

So last night at the gym, Boom Boom and myself wanted to play a little pepper (volleyball with 2 people) but the gym was full of basketball players and little girls learning gymnastics. So we went over to the fake grass area and saw that there were only about six 10 year old boys (give or take a few years) playing football. They didn't have the gym reserved or anything so we went in and started playing in the corner. The little brats had the whole rest of the gym but, as it usually is with brats, that wasn't good enough. The boys thought they were really cool and they kept running through our game and throwing the ball dangerously near our heads. We tried to be patient with them but chance of peace was killed when two of them collided with Little Hay and she was knocked to the ground. Oh boy was she mad, she got up as fast as a neon tiger and let them have a piece of her mind, "SERIOUSLY! You have the whole gym! Can't we just have this little corner?!" The brats didn't say anything and walked away , but you could see fear in there eyes battling with the desire to impress each other with how bad they were. They kept up there dangerous game and on the second close call I threatened to start hitting the volleyball at their fragile, egg shaped heads.
So eventually they stopped playing and their Moms came, buckled them into their booster seats and took them home.
I'm sure Bret felt the same way when he and his gang had to deal with some bully kids...
