This blog is long past due. I've been having a hard time finding the right words for such a time as this. Until now. I have a dear sister, Air Bear, who recently became engaged (you can read about it here on her blog) and so I've decided to dedicate this blog to them and tell the story of how their love grew to what it is today.
They started dating in May of this year and they hadn't known each other for more than a month when Erin told me that she was going to marry him.
(me) "What? Don't say stuff like that, you sound crazy."
(Erin) "You don't know Kori. I'm going to marry him, we like all of the same teams."
It was about that time when Erin left him for Hawaii. Her original plan was to go to Hawaii to help my aunt "move in" and then stay for the rest of her life.
But fate had other plans for Erin.
The happy couple texted each other the whole time they were apart and eventually Britten's charms overpowered the exotic paradise of the Pacific and Erin came back to Utah. It was obvious that absence made the heart fonder..... and fonder..... and even more fond until Christmas day when Britten asked Erin to be his forever.
Erin said Yes
and now I get to deal with the following every night.
