a series of unfortunate events

Things haven't been going my way lately and today was no exception.  I was late to two classes, and half an hour late to work, I got a parking ticket (because apparently half of the road I was parked on had a two hour limit and the other half only had a one hour limit... go figure...), then I learned that I got a C on my photogram assignment in Photography because, "using words and iconographic objects will limit the possibilities of your personal language and expression..." (which sure, it's true and good to know but is that enough reason to give me a C?)
