"don't let them turn our brains into poorage..."

Those immortal words, sung by The Shins, are the story of my life. At work at least. Don't get me wrong, I work with cool people and I'm very, very grateful to have a job but the actual "job" part of it is kind of brain numbing... and eye numbing.... cause staring at a computer screen all day isn't great for the eyes, although they say that the color green is, I read somewhere once that the color green can actually heal your eyes! crazy huh? not sure that I believe it 100% but......... I'm going way off topic..... sorry.

Back to the reason we're all here today (by "all" I guess I just mean myself, although A.D.D. Kori is here today too) which is that I wanted to tell you about something that happened this weekend. It was kind of like something that would happen in a dream.

Erin (bless her heart) has been growing out the hair on her legs so that she could wax them. So when the time came to do the waxing, she didn't read the instructions and to make a long story short, she ended up going to Olive Garden with shorts, a big puffer coat, and a thick layer of wax covering her legs. hummm... was it a dream? Strange how reality and dream world sometimes collide when it comes to Erin. HA HA HA HA!!!! sorry Erin, I give you a hard time way more than is necessary but thanks for the blog material, you even let me take a picture :) It's gold Erin! Gold! :)

Oh! one more thing!

Some traditions are too good to let die so last night, the family gathered around the TV and we watched 2 hours of Jack Bauer. I even pulled out the white board to keep track of his kills. He notched up 2 last night, in classic Jack fashion, with an axe to the chest. It was wonderful. One tradition did die last night though, Sue is usually the one on the edge of her seat, shushhhing everyone. But not last night. She slept through the last half, and even treated us with a snore or two (bless her heart).
good times...
