bad attitude

Well that's sweet! I can blog without my computer around, its great because I normally think of stuff that i want to write about when I can't write about them, and when I actually get to a computer I forget everything I wanted to write. Hopefully this fixes this problem.

So it's been a historic day here in Riverton; I, Kori Thaxton, attended a relief society activity today! Crazy huh? and as much as I hate to say it, it was fun. I just really have a bad attitude sometimes, and I'm kinda.... misanthropic?... I don't know the right word... cynical? yeah I guess that works, I'm kinda misanthropic and cynical at times, needless to say that kind of attitude doesn't work well at church activities. I feel bad about it but, man! it's just all too easy to fall into an Ambrose Bierce state when you are surrounded by a bunch of single people who really want to get married asap! But I'm seriously trying to change my attitude. It was Bierce himself who said, "It is evident that skepticism, while it makes no actual change in man, always makes him feel better." So there you go, out of the mouth of the master! I mostly have this attitude cause I want someone to change something they do that I think is stupid BUT, it is a waste and it doesn't work, so I've got to change. Ha! that is a lot easier written than done though, especially when Hayley is watching "The Hills."
